we were all done, and went back to the house with friends and family to continue the festivities, where I was greeted by some beautiful tulips from my brother and sister-in-law, as well as a beautifully decorated table with a cake to match. All in all the store owners were very pleased with the turnout and the number of copies sold, as was the sales rep from HarperCollins (a lovely lady named Kathryn) who came out for the event.īy 4 p.m. By then the store was quite crowded - about twenty-five people - and we'd had a steady stream of sales and signings the whole time, which was nice. I actually fell in love with the shirt before I even realized what it said, but seeing that just cemented it.) (Which, by the way, has a grunge-look design that reads "Queen of Faeries". The store had provided me with a table right in front of the window, so I had plenty of light and lots of passing folk got treated to a view of my back. Today I had my official bookstore launch for Faery Rebels: Spell Hunter, and boy, was it fun.
